The Secret Life of a Book Blogger Tag!

Hello everyone! Yesterday. I spent a nice warm day outside most of the day. That’s the reason this post is coming later then usual. I apologized for once again not posting yesterday. Thank you My Tiny Obsessions for nominating me to do this book filled (*wink*) tag.

The Rules Are:

1. Thank the person who nominated you.

2. Answer the provided questions.

3. Nominate other book bloggers to do the award.

4. Notify them by linking (ping backing) their blog directly back to your post using the link button or by posting on a new post or about page.

Below are the questions along with my answers:

How long have you been a blogger?

Almost 2 months (Tomorrow will be 2 months)

At what point do you think you’ll stop blogging?

Right now I don’t think I`ll stop blogging anytime soon. It may happen eventfully but not in the near future.

What’s the best thing about blogging?

There are many great things about blogging but I think the followers are one of them. They’re there for you no matter what and will always comment and like your posts 🙂

What’s the worst thing about blogging?

I think the worst thing is the pressure of posting every day and when you don’t, the guilt you feel.

How long does it take for you to find/create pictures for your posts?

Google images are normally what I go for and it takes 1-5 minutes depending on how many pictures. it only takes longer if I cant find the right pictures. The only picture I’ve made so far is my “What I`m Reading Wednesday`s one. That took only a couple of minutes.

Who is your book crush?

That’s tough. I currently don’t have one but my post recent was Quentin Jacobsen from Paper Towns by John Green.

What do you wear when you write your blog posts?

This is a strange question. I wear shorts, a t-shirt, and flip flops when in public and my “pajamas” when I`m just staying home and relaxing.

How long does it take you to prepare?

Normally I get an idea and just start typing but sometimes I have to write out things ahead of time. Normally no more then 10-15 minutes but that will change once school starts on September 1st.

How do you feel about the Book Blogger community?

The Book Blogger community is absolutely amazing and so supportive.

What should be done to achieve a successful blog?

This is another tough question to answer since every blog and definition is different. I would say a successful blog is one that interacts a lot with the community, posts as much as possible, and has quite a few viewers and/or followers.

Now its your turn!

Just copy and paste these questions below into your post! If you want, paste a blank template like this for your nominees and ask them to do the same so everyone can easily participate in this tag.

don’t ever feel guilty if you don’t post everyday, ok? a lot of bloggers don’t, just find something that works for you and never look at blogging as an obligation. Otherwise, it will not be fun for you anymore 😉

Don’t worry I still have tons of fun posting. I just worry that I`m going to loose viewers and/or followers, This coming week I`ll set a posting schedule so I wont be so stressed during school. I wont be posting every day without a doubt. Thanks for commenting 🙂 I always enjoy feedback and love reading your blog.

well, i’ve been here for 2 and a half years, and i never unfollowed anyone for not posting regularly. I think it’s more likely to unfollow someone who posts often enough (and you don’t like the themes) that it ends up annoying you… it kind of never happened to me either. so worry not!

Yaay, I found your post! :p You’re so right, the worst thing about blogging is this pressure you feel when you don’t post too often. I have it too, at times, but I think we shouldn’t let ourselves feel bad because we didn’t have the time to do or schedule blog posts. We should do it when and because we love it, not under pressure 🙂
And I agree with you about having a successful blog, for me it’s really all about the interaction with the wonderful community! 🙂
