Hello everyone! Today I am finally doing What I’m Reading Wednesday’s. If you are unfamiliar with this weekly event, I suggest that you check out the link here. The books I am showing in this post this week I finished reading recently.
The first book is called The Great Greene Heist by Varian Johnson. This book was featured in my Library Book Haul.
Summary:
Jackson Greene became famous for the Shakedown in Shimmering Hills and everyone still talks about the Blitz at the Fitz. After Principal Kelsey caught him in his office, Jackson swore he wouldn’t do any scheming anymore for good. Then Keith Sinclair-the loser of the Blitz-announces he’s running for school president against Jackson’s former almost girlfriend, Gabriela de la Cruz. Gaby has been mad at Jackson since his last con and refuses to let him get involved with her election. Jackson knows that Keith has connections with Principal Kelsey, who could win him the election whatever the vote count. Jackson assembles a team of talented troublemakers. Hashemi the tech genius. Victor Cho, bankroll. Bradley Boardman, artist. Megan Fieldman, science goddess and cheerleader. And Charlie de la Cruz, reporter. Together, they create a plan that will take down Keith, win Gaby’s respect, and make sure the election is done right! This big con could only be called The Great Greene Heist.
