Hey everyone! Writing 101 ended on October 2nd but I’m still slowly but surely trying to get through all of the assignments still. If you’re unfamiliar with this course, check out the link here. Today’s objective is to use a quote to start off your post.
“It’s our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.” -J.K. Rowling
I chose a J.K. Rowling quote since I recently finished the first Harry Potter book.
To me, this quote means that what you do, shows who you are as a person more then what you can do.

Being nice to someone overpowers being able to do 3 backflips
Not hanging out with the wrong crowd is better then being able to shoot a basket from the half court line.
Blogging honestly is better then being able to post 5-6 posts a day that aren’t even true.

This may seem a bit cheesy but it’s all true. J.K. Rowling couldn’t have said it any better. People will pay attention more to what you choose to do than what you did in the talent show or at the competition.
