Book Review: Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets

Hello everyone! It’s Tuesday and time for the review I’ve been promising for quite sometime. It’s my book review for Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling.

Summary:

The Dursley’s were of course mean to Harry during the summer. All he wanted was to get back to the Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. Just as Harry is packing his bags, he receives a warning from a strange creature named Dobby who says that if Harry returns to Hogwarts, disaster will strike. Disaster does strike. In Harry’s second year of Hogwarts, new torments and horror arises, including a stuck up new professor named Gilderoy Lockhart, a spirit named Moaning Myrtle who haunts the girl’s bathroom, and the unwanted attention of Ron Weasley’s younger sister Ginny. Each of these annoyances seem minor when the real trouble begins. Someone or something is turning Hogwarts students to stone. Could it be Draco Malfoy, a rich and stuck up rival? Could it possibly be Hagrid whose mysterious past is being uncovered? Or could it be the person that most people accuse.. Harry Potter himself?!
