Hey everyone! Today is Tuesday and that means it’s time for another Top Ten Tuesdays. This amazing weekly meme is created by the awesome people @TheBrokeandTheBookish. You should definitely check out their blog! This week’s topic is Top Ten New To-Me Favorite Authors I read for the first time in 2015.
Top Ten New To Me Authors from 2015:
- J.K Rowling
Of course, she’s on the top of the list 🙂 J.K. Rowling has changed my life so much since I started reading the Harry Potter series. Kudos to her for creating such diverse characters and a great story 😀
2) Sarah Webb
This amazing lady was the creator of the Ask Amy Green series. Enough said.
3) Terri Farley
This lady is the author of the Phantom Stallion series. I seem to be loving the lady authors XD Terri is such an amazing author.
4) John Green
Let’s shed some light on the amazing guy authors out there. Among them, is John Green. He is such a bright guy who creates characters that you can feel what they feel. Imagine what they’re going through. Thank you John for creating Q and Hazel Grace 🙂
5) David Levithan
This guy wrote the book called Every Day. I’m thankful that there was this topic because I learned that there is a companion to this book that was published a few years ago. Go figure!
6) Lauren Myracle
I realized that I mainly read female authors this year. The rest will be female, no hate on men. This amazing lady wrote the Flower Power series and many more amazing series’s for young adults and children.
7) Lauren Brooke
She is the awesome writer of the Heartland book series. Yes, there is also a TV show by the same name. I believe one is based off the other. I have no image because all of the pictures were not very appropriate of not the author Lauren Brooke but the interviewer and the model.
8) Sharon Creech
This amazing lady has wowed me with her writing. All of her characters drew me into the story and made me want to keep reading late into the night.
9) Lauren Halse Anderson
She is the author of the Vet Volunteer series. This series taught me a ton about what it’s really like to be a veterinarian. The books are aimed at younger children but are still worth a read.
10) Hillary McKay
Last but not least, this author brought us the Casson Family and their amazing book series. I highly recommend it!!
That’s all for this week’s Top Ten Tuesdays. This was honestly just a few of the amazing authors I found this year.
Yaay to John Green!! He’s the best and my favorite of all times 🙂
I can’t wait to read some David Levithan this year, heard so many great things about his books!! 😀
