Top Ten Tuesdays: Popular Characters

Hey everyone! I haven’t done a Top Ten Tuesday in forever! This awesome meme is hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. You should definitely check their blog out! This week’s topic is Ten Characters Everyone Loves But I Just Don’t Get or Ten Characters I LOVE But Others Seem To Dislike. I have decided to go for the Ten Characters everyone loves but I just don’t get. These characters will be from books I won’t/have yet to read.

Top Ten Tuesdays

Ten Characters Everyone Loves But I Just Don’t Get:

1) Percy Jackson from the Percy Jackson series

I haven’t read the Percy Jackson series and don’t plan to. The hype doesn’t make much sense to me.

2)Cinder from the Lunar Chronicles series

These characters are on here because I haven’t read the book(s). This is one of them. I’m not into books about cyborgs and robotic people.

3) Snape from the Harry Potter series

I have read the Harry Potter series. That means the above statement isn’t true XD I don’t get the hype around Professor Snape. I didn’t like him at all through out the whole series. Does that make me a bad person?

4) Bella and Edward from the Twlight series

@twilightguide.com

I haven’t read Twilight but I know the gist. It doesn’t seem like a worthwhile series to read. It’s not very well written either. This just seems to be me complaining about characters.

5)Anna from Anna and the French Kiss

 @candy8496

I am thinking about reading this book. For now, I don’t get the hype.

6) Eleanor and Park from Eleanor and Park

I don’t think I’ll be reading this book. I don’t get the hype around them at all.

7) Simon and Baz from Carry On

I was so close to reading Carry On. I started reading it and honestly couldn’t get into it. Maybe I’ll try again some other time.

8) Liesel from the Book Thief

I am yet to read this book so I don’t understand the hype.

That’s all! I hope you enjoyed this week’s Top Ten Tuesdays!

Stay tuned for more!
