Book Traveling Thursday (#16) Laughter

Hey everybody! Tomorrow’s Friday and I am pretty excited to just relax. It’s also time for Book Traveling Thursday! This meme is hosted by the wonderful Catia @ The Girl Who Read Too Much  and the awesome Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog! You can find out more information about the meme, future themes and more at the Goodreads group. This week’s theme is:

World’s Laughter Day was a few days ago. Choose a book that makes you laugh.

This was actually pretty tough! I finally chose to do The BFG by Roald Dahl. All the made up words and great descriptions definitely made me laugh!

Original/Cover From My Country (US):

The BFGOriginal The BFGCover I read

Favorite Cover(s):

Il GGGItalian

De GVRDutch

Sophiechen und der RieseGerman

SVJSwedish

All the covers are pretty darn similar! I apologize for that. My favorite is the Italian because of the yellow border/edges.

Least Favorite(s):

غول بزرگ مهربانPersian

WielkomiludPolish

Sophie và tên khổng lồVietnamese

ยักษ์ใจดีThai

Oh my gosh! The Thai and Polish ones are pretty creepy. This is a pretty well known book so finding covers wasn’t hard.

That’s a wrap! There was definitely lots of diverse covers this week. What are your favorite and least favorite covers? Let me know!

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more Book Traveling Thursdays!
