Hey everyone! It’s Tuesday and that means it’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday! This weekly meme is hosted by the wonderful people at The Broke and the Bookish. You should definitely check them out! This week’s topic is:
Ten Books Set Outside The US (I don’t know about you but sooo much of what I read is set in the US and I love finding new recs of stuff set outside of it!)
I realized that I read a lot set in the US. I will try to do as many as I can.
Ten Books Inside and Outside The US:
- The Fault In Our Stars by John Green-Amsterdam
The majority of this book is set in the US. Some of it is set in Amsterdam though. I love the part in Amsterdam so much. Especially in the movie, since I could see just how beautiful it is.
2. The Harry Potter series by JK Rowling- Britain
This is a greatly loved series. It’s fictional (right?) but still has a real setting.
3. The Anne Shirley series by L.M. Montgomery-Canada
I am reading this old series right now and I love it.Most of if not all of Montgomery’s books are set in Canada.
4. The Ask Amy Green Series by Sarah Webb-Ireland
This is a great tween series about a girl named Amy Green who lives in Ireland
5. The Book Thief by Mark Zusak-Germany
The town is fictional but it’s set in Germany. This book I have yet to read but it’s on my book shelf right now.
That’s all. I knew I wouldn’t be able to think of much. What books have you read that aren’t set in the U.S.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for next week’s Top Ten Tuesday!
