Library Book Haul (#5)

Hey everyone! Today is Sunday and it’s time for another Library Book Haul! I apologize for this one being so late/early. I wanted to get it out today. Today’s haul consists of  4 unread books and one summer reading prize. Without further ado, let’s get started!!

*ALL BOOK TITLES ARE LINKED TO THE BOOK’S GOODREADS PAGE :)*

1.Sweet Home Alaska by Carole Estby Dagg -Tween

Sweet Home Alaska

This book sounded so interesting! It’s set in first Wisconsin then Alaska in 1934; during The Great Depression. You’ll hear about it in a WWW Wednesday or two but I won’t be doing a review.

2.Emily of New Moon by L.M. Montgomery-Tween

Emily of New Moon (Emily, #1)(Not the edition I got)

Another small series by L.M. Montgomery. I love her writing style and characters so much. Now I’m determined to get through all the books she’s written. Just like all Tween books, I won’t be doing an official review.

3. Treasure Hunters #4: Peril At The Top Of The World by James Patterson-Tween

(Goodreads has no cover picture; this is from the B&N site)

I love this series so much! It’s mainly graphic novels but the characters go on such amazing adventures. Won’t be reviewed unless requested, same with all Tween books.

4.I Am The Messenger by Markus Zusak-Young Adult

I Am the Messenger

I loved The Book Thief (review scheduled for Friday) so much that I decided to read more by Zusak. It sounds interesting so I hope it’ll be at least almost as good as The Book Thief. This is the only book that will definitely have a review. The rest can have one with enough requests.

5. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins-Summer Reading Prize/Young Adult

The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1)

As I normally do, I entered the summer reading program at the local library. I read 1,o00 minutes (and more) and turned in my log. I didn’t know I got a  free book but was excited to pick one. I ended up picking a classic: The Hunger Games. I don’t own the other two books so I’ll have to get my hands on those 😀

That’s a wrap! Are any of these books interesting to you? Let me know!

This haul consisted of 3 Tween and 2 Young Adult/Teen books.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more Library Book Hauls.

I also loved The Book Thief and after reading it decided that of course, I have to read I am the messenger too. I was surprised how good it was and how much I enjoyed reading it. I have to take time and reread it soon! 🙂
