Book Traveling Thursday (#29)|Book Lovers

Hey everyone!! It’s Thursday and that means it’s time for another Book Traveling Thursday. This weekly meme is hosted by Càtia @ The Girl Who Read Too Much and Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog. Go check out their blogs for all things bookish! To find out more meme information, future themes and more, go to the meme’s Goodreads group here.  This week’s theme is:

National Book Lovers Day was two days ago… choose a book you think every book lover should read.

Just like always, there are so many books I have done that would fit this theme. I have decided to do Matilda by Roald Dahl. What better book than a book about a little girl who loves to read?

Original Cover/Cover From Your Country (US):

Matilda

Favorite Cover(s):

ماتيلداArabic

MatildeLatvian

Cô bé MatildaVietnamese

මැටිල්ඩාSinhalese

Out of these, my favorite is the Vietnamese one. It’s so unique and colorful. I love it!

Least Favorite Cover(s):

ماتيلداArabic

МатильдаUkrainian

MatildaSpanish

ماتیلداPersian

Out of these, my least favorite is all of them!! The Arabic one doesn’t look like Matilda at all. The Ukrainian one has a girl that’s slightly creepy and too small to be Matilda. The Spanish one has a girl that doesn’t look like Matilda and the Persian one isn’t very clear.

That’s a wrap! There were quite a few covers I didn’t like this time.  What is your favorite and least favorite covers? Let me know!

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for next week’s Book Traveling Thursday!
