It’s back to school time! Choose a book set on high school or college.

Of course, all of the topics for memes lately are school related. Since I’m going into High School, this will be perfect. This week, I have decided to do Will Grayson, Will Grayson  by John Green and David Levithan. I haven’t read this book yet but it’s on my book shelf.

Original Cover/Cover From My Country:

Will Grayson, Will Grayson

Favorite Cover(s):

Will & Will: Um nome, um destinoPortuguese

Den Andre Will GraysonSwedish

Will et WillFrench

23350212Portuguese

My favorite out of these is the first Portuguese cover. It’s simple yet it still stands out to me.

Least Favorite(s):

Will ti presento WillItalian

This was the only one I found that I really didn’t like. It has random people and the background isn’t my favorite.

That’s a wrap! This book has a lot of covers that have different languages but the same graphic.  What are your favorite and least favorite covers?

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for next week’s Book Traveling Thursday!

National Book Lovers Day was two days ago… choose a book you think every book lover should read.

Just like always, there are so many books I have done that would fit this theme. I have decided to do Matilda by Roald Dahl. What better book than a book about a little girl who loves to read?

Original Cover/Cover From Your Country (US):

Matilda

Favorite Cover(s):

ماتيلداArabic

Least Favorite Cover(s):

ماتيلداArabic

МатильдаUkrainian

MatildaSpanish

ماتیلداPersian

Out of these, my least favorite is all of them!! The Arabic one doesn’t look like Matilda at all. The Ukrainian one has a girl that’s slightly creepy and too small to be Matilda. The Spanish one has a girl that doesn’t look like Matilda and the Persian one isn’t very clear.

That’s a wrap! There were quite a few covers I didn’t like this time.  What is your favorite and least favorite covers? Let me know!

As always there are lots of books that would fit this book that I’ve already done. I have chosen to do Every Day by David Levithan. It’s a topsy-turvy book with lots of twists and turns. A great book for a day at home or the beach.

Favorite Cover(s):

Letztendlich sind wir dem Universum egal (Every Day, #1)German

Cada díaSpanish

Because some sequels are better than the first book choose your favorite sequel.

I’ve already done some sequels for this. I think I will be doing Anne of Avonlea by L.M Montgomery. This is an old book that I actually haven’t read yet. I’ve read Anne of Green Gables and by accidently read the third one after that. Luckily, I will be reading Anne of Avonlea soon. I’m sure it will be great. Without further ado, here we go!

Original Cover/Cover From My Country (US):

I’m not 100% sure if this is the original cover but it’s one of the first. I don’t know if there is an official cover from my country or not.

Favorite Cover(s):

Ana la de Avonlea (Ana de las Tejas Verdes, #2)Spanish

Енн із ЕйвонліUkrainian

Анн от Авонлий (Анн от Грийн Гейбълс, #2)Bulgarian

21522439Finnish

Out of these, my favorite is the Spanish cover. It has both black and white and color. The Spanish one has both a real and cartoony feel to it too.

Least Favorite Cover(s):

13637667Hungarian

Anne bliver lærer (Anne-bøgerne, #2)Danish

Ania z AvonleaPolish

Cesta za velkým snem (Anne of Green Gables, #2)Czech

My least favorite out of these is the Czech one. It looks like someone took a picture of a random girl and put it on the cover. That girl doesn’t even have red hair like Anne!

That’s a wrap! What are your favorite and least favorite covers? Let me know!

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for next week’s Book Traveling Thursday!

Book with an Eye Candy Cover. Choose a book that you read/bought because of the cover.

I never get a book only because of the cover. The cover definitely does influence me though. I’ve already done a lot of books that would’ve been perfect for this theme. I have decided to do Insurgent by Veronica Roth. It definitely has an eye-catching cover.

Original Cover/Cover From My Country (US):

Insurgent (Divergent, #2)

Favorite Cover(s):

Tödliche Wahrheit (Die Bestimmung, #2)German

All that changed was the colors but I still enjoy it

Divergente (Divergente, #2)French

This is an interesting split cover!

Pobunjeni (Divergent, #2)Serbian

My favorite is the Serbian cover because it has a gloomy and mysterious feel about it.

Least Favorite Cover(s):

Divergente (Divergente, #2)French

المتمردة إنسورجنتArabic

Rezistencia (Divergencia, #2)Slovak

My least favorite out of these is probably the French one. They just put a random person on the cover!

That’s a wrap! Most of these covers aren’t really that good or bad. The majority of the covers looked like the original. What are your favorite and least favorite covers? Let me know! I apologize for the small cover selection this week.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for next week’s Book Traveling Thursday!

We’re halfway through 2016. Choose your favorite book of the year so far.

This is a tough one! I’ve mentioned quite a few of my favorites already. I have so many favorites… For this theme I have decided to do I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson. This is a book that I’ve definitely raved about a lot. Without further ado, here we go!

Original Cover/Cover From My Country (US):

I'll Give You the Sun

Favorite Cover(s):

Eu Dou-te o SolPortuguese

Te daría el solSpanish

Te daría el solSlovak

Daću ti sunceSerbian

My favorite out of these was the Portuguese one. It’s so beautiful. I love how there are different colored raindrops instead of rays.

Least Favorite Cover(s):

Oddam ci słońcePolish

ARC Ik geef je de zonDutch

Jag ger dig solenSwedish

These are all my least favorites. The Polish one has too much writing and shouldn’t have a random person on it. The Dutch one is plain and boring. The Swedish one has some things that have to do with the book but it still doesn’t make much sense.

That’s a wrap! What are your favorite and least favorite covers? Let me know!

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for next week’s Book Traveling Thursday!

  Least Favorite(s):

La Voleuse de livresFrench

BoktyvenNorwegian

Zlodejka kníhSlovak

偷書賊Chinese

My least favorite out of these is probably the Slovak one. Yes, I haven’t read the book so these might be good covers. I don’t like the Slovak one because the “blood” doesn’t seem like it’s part of the cover. It’s just randomly there.

That’s a wrap! What are your favorite and least favorite covers? Let me know! Have you read the Book Thief? If you have, how was it?
