Hey everyone! It’s Sunday and I am finally reviewing Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella. I finished this a while ago but am just now doing a review. Anyway, let’s get started!

Amazon Summary:

An anxiety disorder disrupts fourteen-year-old Audrey’s daily life. She has been making slow but steady progress with Dr. Sarah, but when Audrey meets Linus, her brother’s gaming teammate, she is energized. She connects with him. Audrey can talk through her fears with Linus in a way she’s never been able to do with anyone before. As their friendship deepens and her recovery gains momentum, a sweet romantic connection develops, one that helps not just Audrey but also her entire family.

My Thoughts:

I generally loved Finding Audrey. Audrey is such a great character. She has realistic real life problems. She struggles so much and it can be relatable for those with an anxiety disorder and/or depression.All the characters are so detailed that I feel like I know them. Linus, her brother’s friend is a brilliant character. He really believes in Audrey. Even when she has a total panic attack, he isn’t scared away. This book is full of life changing moments for both Audrey and her family. The only part that was the least bit unlikeable was the ending. It seemed too “happily ever after” for me. Overall, It’s such a touching book and definitely worth the read. There’s even a bit of suspense 🙂

This was a brilliant book! If it was a teen book, it definitely would be popular.

OMG! This was such a great book! There was lots of suspense, mystery and a bit of romance. I’ll have a review out Sunday! I promise. 😀

Currently Reading:

L.M. Montgomery never ceases to amaze me! Her writing keeps me glued to the pages. Emily is such a great character and Montgomery makes all her characters seem so real!

Library Book Haul (#6)

Hey everyone! I quickly want to apologize for not posting yesterday and posting late today. I’ll try to do better! Today I am doing a Library Book Haul. This haul will consist of 4 books: 2 Young Adult and 2 Tween. I got these books at the library on Saturday Let’s get started!

The After-Room (The Apothecary #3) by Maile Meloy-Tween

I love this book series! The first two books were amazing and I’m looking forward to this one. There won’t be a review since it’s a Tween book.

2.Counting Thyme by Melanie Conklin-Tween

This book sounded amazing! It’s based around a girl and her family.They have to move so her brother can try out a new cancer drug trial. I bet it’ll be great. There won’t be a review due to the genre.

3. Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella-Young Adult/Teen

I’m finally reading this book!! It’s been out since last June and I’m just now reading it. I hope I’ll enjoy it. The reviews on Goodreads are an average of 3.8/5 stars so it’s probably not the best. You’ll see what I think in the review 🙂

4.More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera

This is another book that’s been out for a bit. Since June of last year as well. This one has better review average but a tougher topic. I’m eager to finally read it! I will let you know what I think in my review.
