This is an amazing quote from Suzanne Collins, the author of the Hunger Games series. This is such a powerful quote. Everyone has had that moment where they just want to freeze the moment. It could be when they met the love of their life. Their first kiss. Birth of child. Wedding. Whatever the moment is, everyone has had that feeling of wishing to freeze the moment and live it forever.

When did you have this feeling? Comment below!

I nominate:

Everyone!

This is an a fun challenge that is easy yet tough at the same time. As always, you can choose to participate or not.

Today’s quote is from a not so new book called The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton.

Pinterest.com

Last school year my teacher had my class read The Outsiders. Before we started, we did a quote activity using actual quotes from different characters in the book. I saw names like “Pony Boy” and “Soda Pop” and wondered what the heck my teacher was going to make us read. One thing’s for sure: The Outsiders was an amazing book but the movie was not very good. If you haven’t read The Outsiders yet I seriously recommend you do! It opened my eyes to how different groups of people can really be discriminated against. To me this quote means: I know what I believe but I’m not at the point to show it.

I nominate:

All of you that are reading this! Its an amazing challenge. It’s your choice whether you choose to accept it.

That’s it! The 3 Days 3 Quote Challenge is over. I currently don’t have anymore nominations but you might see more tags and challenges in the future so stay tuned!

Thanks for reading!’

Thank you @MyTinyObsessions for nominating me to do this fun challenge!

Today my quote is from a well known book by John Green called The Fault in Our Stars.

image

Source: rebloggy.com

This is a pretty powerful quote said by one of the main characters Augustus Waters. If you haven’t read The Fault in Our Stars yet then I definitely think you should! It is a romance genred story and has some tear jerker moments. If you’re an emotional person, you might want to get tissues nearby at all times. To me, this quote means that you look the problem in the eye but you don’t let it damage you. Like Gus says: It’s a metaphor.

Since I totally forgot to nominate 3 bloggers yesterday to do the challenge, I will make it up by nominating 6 today 😀

I nominate:

@gradypbrown

@digga3k

@AtimMercy

@#forevershannon

Let them know they were nominated for this challenge. As always, you can take it or leave it.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for the final day of 3 Days 3 Quotes.

Let me know what you thought of The Fault in Our Stars movie and/or book.

Thank you @MyTinyObsessions for once again nominating me to do this amazing challenge!

I am going to start this out with a quote from the book I am reading right now called Walk Two Moons by Sharon Chreech.

This quote is pretty much the motto of the Newberry Award winning book. I’m going to review the book soon so I won’t give too much away. Basically the main character is named Sal or Salamanca Tree Hiddle. She switches back and forth between being on a road trip from Ohio to Idaho and being in the story she is telling that involves her friend Phobe, her father, and many other characters. It is an amazing book that I absolutely recommend to anyone who loves adventure books.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for Day #2!

3 Days 3 Quotes: The Final Day (Day 3)

Hi everyone! Today is the third and final day of the 3 days 3 Quotes Challenge. I’m finishing this Challange off with a Hunger Games quote.

The Rules

1. Thank the person that nominated you

2. Post a quote for 3 consecutive days (1 Quote per day)

3. Nominate 3 different bloggers everyday.

Once again, thank you so much @MyTinyObsessions for giving me the opportunity to participate in such an amazing challenge.

Todays quote:

Source: buzzquotes.com

This quote is from Mockingjay the final book of the Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins. It is said by Finnick Odair. Finnick Odair is a District 4 victor and a mentor. He was 24-25 in this book and was played by Sam Claflin in the film. If you haven’t read the Hunger Games series I strongly recommend it. The books can get pretty violent, intense and also have lots of suspense. This quote means in my opinion  that once you fall apart, it can take ten times as much courage and energy to bounce back.

Today I nominate:

Let these wonderful people know they won. As always they can take it or leave it!
