Personal Life:

I finished a school. Boy was that crazy. I realized that I probably wasn’t going to see some amazing people again. I attended a baby shower and that was lots of fun. Summer begun and I did lots of reading, blogging and relaxing. I reached 1 year of blogging and got a shoutout from an author. Overall I didn’t have too crazy of a month 😉

This Month:

First of all I celebrated the 4th of July or America’s Independence Day.Then I will celebrate my cats birthday(s) later this month. I’m going to wedding . Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is coming out on July 31st!! I might go to my friend’s house and watch some of the movies finally. I’ve only seen the first one.

That’s all I really know. More things might come up/happen. Who knows?

Friendly Discussion Friday (#3) EBooks?

Hey everyone! It’s Friday. Today you get two posts 🙂 I hope you’ve had a great week so far and can have a relaxing weekend. It’s time for another Friendly Discussion Friday. I’ve done two posts so far. You can find them here:

#1: Cover Influence #2: Hardcover or Paperback?

Today’s topic is going to be:

Books

Some people believe that physical books will eventually melt away. EBooks will be the only form of book. Yet others believe that physical books will always be around no matter how big EBooks get. Last year, physical books and ebooks took turns falling and rising in popularity.

My Opinion?

I haven’t read a single ebook and don’t plan too. I’ve always loved print books and refuse to read a book off of a tablet or Kindle. I love print books because:

  • You can physically turn the pages
  • The book doesn’t need to be charged
  • There’s something satisfying about holding a real book
  • Your eyes don’t get tired from staring at a screen

As you can probably guess, I’m physical/print books all the way

What Do You Think?

Do you agree with me? If so, why?

If you disagree, what makes you like ebooks more?

If you’re stuck in the middle, why?

Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

That’s a wrap! This was a great topic to do since it’s a topic that lots of people think about. Where do you stand?

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more Friendly Discussion Fridays!

Thanks for

Friendly Discussion Friday (#2)

Hey everyone! TGIF 😀 Happy Friday. Since you guys seemed to enjoy the first FDF (here), I’ve decided to do another one. As you can guess, this meme is only about discussing opinions, current events and more. This week’s topic is:

Topic

Paperback or Hardcover Books? This topic is greatly talked about. Everyone has their own opinions of course. Hardcover books are sturdier and look incredible on the bookshelf. Paperback covers are easier to take places and easier to read.

What’s my opinion?

I personally enjoy hardcovers better. Yes, they are more expensive. The pros to me are:

  • They are sturdy
  • They look amazing on shelves 😀
  • I can’t rip or bend the cover(s) by accidently

Paperbacks do have their pros of course. I won’t deny a paperback and actually read those more than hardcover. If I had to choose one, I’d choose hardcover.

What’s Your Opinion?

Let me know in the comments!

Do You Choose Paperback or Hardcover?

Some Great Books In Both Hardcover and Paperback

That’s a wrap! How can I improve in these discussion posts? Let me know any suggestions along with your opinion on this topic.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more Friendly Discussion Fridays!
