Top Ten Tuesday| Books I Still Haven’t Read

Hey everyone! It’s Tuesday and that means it’s time for another Top Ten Tuesdays. This wonderful meme is hosted by the people @ The Broke and the Bookish. Go check them out for all things bookish! This week’s topic may be tough for me. It is:

Ten Books That Have Been On Your Shelf (Or TBR) From Before You Started Blogging That You STILL Haven’t Read Yet

I most likely won’t make it to ten books.

Ten Books I Still Haven’t Read:

  1. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

This will most likely be off my list soon since I am starting High School in a couple of weeks.

2.The Giver by Lois Lowry

I feel like this is a book I should read.  I don’t know when I will.

3. An Abundance of Kathrines by John Green

Since I’ve enjoyed both of the John Green books I’ve read so far, I want to read another one!

4. The Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer
I still haven’t read the Twilight books. I’m not 100% sure if I ever will be they are on my TBR never less.

5. Allegiant by Veronica Roth
I have read the first and second books in the series. I hesitate to read this one though.

6. Four by Veronica Roth

This is literally on my bookshelf. It’s more of a prequel or so I’ve heard.

7.I Funny TV by James Patterson and Chris Grabenstein

I have loved the I Funny series so far and can’t wait to read this one!

8. 52 Story Treehouse by Andy Griffiths

I have always loved this series. It’s more of a children’s graphic novel but still amazing. Each book, the treehouse has more attractions and floors.

 9. The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian

This has been on my Goodreads TBR for sometime. I hope to eventually read it.

10. Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell

I need to read more classics and I feel like this would be perfect!

I guess I have more reading to do than I thought! What are some books you still need to read? Let me know!

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for next week’s Top Ten Tuesday!

Pokémon Go Book Tag!!

Hey everyone! It’s Wednesday and it’s time for a rare double post day. Today I am doing a book tag. More specifically the Pokémon Go Book Tag. I saw this on My Tiny Obsessions’ blog last month and knew I had to do it. Go check out her amazing blog for all things bookish, movie, TV shows, traveling and so much more!  For the record, I do not play Pokémon Go and don’t plan to. I can understand why it’s fun and so hyped but it’s just not my thing. This tag was created by Aentee @ Read At Midnight.

Pokemon-Go-Book-Tag

I’m going to use Aentee’s graphics because they’re so amazing!

pokemon-tag-01starters

This book definitely started my love for reading. It was my first chapter book and after that, I wanted to read as much as Junie B Jones as possible. After that all I wanted to do was read.

pokemon-tag02pikachuI haven’t read any iconic classics. I’m sure I’ll read some in High School though!

pokemon-tag-03-zubat

Hmm.. I’m going to say Allegiant by Veronica Roth. The hype died down a long time ago. I have heard nothing but bad about the book so I refuse to read it. It’s not everywhere now but it was.

Pokemon-Tag-04-Ditto

I’m going to say Half Brother by Kenneth Oppal. It’s sooo similar to another book I’ve read but I still loved it.

Pokemon-Tag-05-Snorlax
Nothing comes to mind. Even if a book is super long, I’d still read it.

Pokemon-Tag06-Gengar

The last book that kept me up was I Am The Messenger by Markus Zusak. It kept me up because of the suspense, mystery and adventure. I just couldn’t bring myself to put it down.

Pokemon-Tag07-NidokingQueen

This is pretty tough. I’m going to say Cath and Levi from Fangirl. They’re already together but they are still the perfect OTP1`

Pokemon-Tag08-RapidashI’m going to say The Hunger Games series. Something is always happening and there’s plot twists popping up everywhere!

Pokemon-Tag09-EeveeI’m going to say The Harry Potter series. I’m excited to see how the Cursed Child book is. But just like the rest of the series, I’m sure I’ll read it way later than everyone else.

Pokemon-Tag14-Magikarp

The Harry Potter series would be perfect for this. Since I just did that answer… The Book Thief. I was hesitant to read it but am so glad I did.

Pokemon-Tag12-LegendaryNothing comes to mind. I don’t really have an series’ that I want to read.

Pokemon-Tag15Mew-MewTwoThe Fangirl collectors edition, The Harry Potter book series collectors editions and the Eleanor and Park collectors edition just to name a few.

Pokemon-Tag10-EggI don’t have any debut novels. Just more from Becky Albertalli, Nicola Yoon and Bill Kongisberg!

Pokemon-Tag11-Lure-ModuleNone! I don’t do any of that stuff.

Pokemon-Tag13-Server-Down

The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon-Release Date: November 1st,2016
The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli-Release Date: April 2017
Honestly Ben by Bill Konigsberg-Release Date: Fall 2016
That’s all for now!

I nominate: EVERYONE who wants to participate! This is a great tag for Pokémon Go fans and non Pokémon Go fans alike. What’s your favorite Pokémon? Let me know!
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more great book tags!

Top Ten Tuesday|Rewind

Hey everyone! It’s Tuesday and that means it’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday! This weekly meme is hosted by the wonderful people @ The Broke and the Bookish. Go check them out for all things bookish and fun! This week’s topic is pretty free and unlimited.

Top Ten Tuesday REWIND — go back and do a topic you missed over the years or recently or a topic you really want to revisit

I have decided to do Top Ten WOW endings. It was done in April of 2013.

Top Ten WOW Endings: *NO SPOILERS INCLUDED*

  1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows  by JK Rowling Ending

This ending was WOW in terms of name choices and so much more.I don’t want to spoil anything since some still haven’t read the Harry Potter series!

No rush 😀

2.The Everything,Everything by Nicola Yoon ending

Everything, Everything

This ending was one of the best I have ever read. It was a plot twist I didn’t see coming. If you haven’t read Everything,Everything, I definitely recommend it!

3.The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

This ending could’ve been seen coming but it was still shocking and so,so sad. If you haven’t read The Book Thief, you definitely need to!

4. And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

And Then There Were None

We read this book in school. It was such a suspenseful and pretty creepy book. The ending was strange and left some open ends to it. If you love mystery books, this is one for you.

5. Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins ending

Mockingjay: Movie Tie-In Edition (The Hunger Games, Book 3) (Hunger Games Trilogy) by [Collins, Suzanne]
I thought this ending would have a lot more to it. It had an abrupt ending which was the most shocking. If you love tons of action, this book is for you!

6. Insurgent by Veronica Roth ending

Insurgent (Divergent, #2)
This ending was a huge plot twist!! It changed everything. I haven’t read Allegiant and really don’t plan to. The ending left tons of open ends for me. If you love suspense, action and adventure, this book is for you!
I guess I only got 6 books!

That’s a wrap!! I sure hope I didn’t forget anything! Comment any books that I forgot that would’ve been on your list.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for next week’s Top Ten Tuesday!

Book Traveling Thursday (#25)

Hey everyone! It’s Thursday and that means tomorrow’s Friday! I hope everyone has had a great week and can have a relaxing and enjoyable rest of their week. It also means it’s time for another Book Traveling Thursday! This meme is hosted by the amazing Cátia @ The Girl Who Read Too Much and  wonderful Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog. Go check out their outstanding blogs if you haven’t already! To find more information, future themes and more, go to the meme’s Goodreads group here. This week’s theme (the first of July!) is:

Book with an Eye Candy Cover. Choose a book that you read/bought because of the cover.

I never get a book only because of the cover. The cover definitely does influence me though. I’ve already done a lot of books that would’ve been perfect for this theme. I have decided to do Insurgent by Veronica Roth. It definitely has an eye-catching cover.

Original Cover/Cover From My Country (US):

Insurgent (Divergent, #2)

Favorite Cover(s):

Tödliche Wahrheit (Die Bestimmung, #2)German

All that changed was the colors but I still enjoy it

Divergente (Divergente, #2)French

This is an interesting split cover!

Pobunjeni (Divergent, #2)Serbian

My favorite is the Serbian cover because it has a gloomy and mysterious feel about it.

Least Favorite Cover(s):

Divergente (Divergente, #2)French

المتمردة إنسورجنتArabic

Rezistencia (Divergencia, #2)Slovak

My least favorite out of these is probably the French one. They just put a random person on the cover!

That’s a wrap! Most of these covers aren’t really that good or bad. The majority of the covers looked like the original. What are your favorite and least favorite covers? Let me know! I apologize for the small cover selection this week.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for next week’s Book Traveling Thursday!
