What Are Your Top 3 Book Pet Hates?

  1. People who draw in books and then give them to other people. If you’re going to draw in your book, don’t give it away!
  2. Authors who somehow have spelling and grammar mistakes. How the heck did it make it past your editor or spell check?!

3. Books that have too many characters. How am I supposed to keep up with who’s who?

Describe Your Perfect Reading Spot.

This is pretty straight forward. My perfect reading spot has to be quiet. It also has to be comfortable and have good lighting.

  1. I have a huge problem with reading tween/children age books. You guys probably already know that.
  2. I don’t have my books organized in anyway on my bookshelf

Um.. let’s see.. At least a  week ago. Normally I’m not very emotional while reading though.

Wait for it… Zero! The book I’m reading right now (Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon) is on my bed. The rest of my books are on my book shelf.

Absolutely nothing! I just like me and my book 🙂

I don’t have an actual bookcase. It’s more of a makeshift one. The shelves are very cluttered and unorginized. I don’t think you guys want to see that.

    I can’t stand grammar errors and mistakes in books either. I had the issue with a book recently and it just distracted me from the story. I just wanted to scream every time I read “your” instead of “you’re”. As a French studying English, it’s even harder to look at them, because I know if I made the same mistake, my teachers would just scream at me and give my a 0. I don’t get how these kind of mistakes find themselves in published books.
    I don’t have a proper bookshelf. I use the upper part of my old desk until I can buy the bookcase of my dreams.

    I like your last answer! Who is going to tell their biggest secret on the internet for everyone to see!
    Good lighting is the most important when reading wherever you are, I like reading in bed, on the sofa, on the beach, in the garden.
